Kenyans Eliud Kiplagat and Joan Rotich are the much acclaimed winners of the 10th Salzburg Marathon on May 5th. Eliud Kiplagat set a new course record of 2:14:16. Joan Rotich won in 2:36:10 and successfully defended her title from last year in the women’s marathon. A record field of 6,789 runners from 60 nations registered for one of the races of the Salzburg Marathon and enjoyed a bright day of running in Mozart’s home town.
