Salzburg Marathon

Start: Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.

The course consists of two 21,1km laps and leads through the most beautiful sites of Salzburg. It is paved, flat (maximum vertical drop 10m) and certified by IAAF/AIMS. Start and finish are at Residenzplatz, inmidst the old town of Salzburg.

Classification: M+F main category (1993-1984), age category from M+F 30 to M+F 80+ every 5 years.

SPARKASSE Half Marathon

Start: Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.

Sparkasse Half marathon will start together with the marathon runners. You will have to lap the 21,1 kilometer course only once.

Classification: M+F U18 (1997-1996), M+F U20 (1995-1994) , M+F main category (1993-1984), age category from M+F 30 to M+F 80+ every 5 years.

Salzburger Nachrichten Relay Marathon

Start: Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.

Each team consists of 4 athletes running consecutively 10,55 kilometres after passing the baton. Ribbon will be controlled at the start and finish. All runners need a chip.

Classification: Start for the first runner of the relay will be together with the marathon field. Classification: M/F/Mixed 4-runners relay.

Each team consists of 3 runners, each of them runs either 42.2 km = 2 laps or 21.1 km = 1 lap. Each runner on the team must do the same length of the course.

Classification: Team Marathon male, female and mixed. Team Half marathon male, female and mixed.

COCA-COLA Junior-Marathon

Start: Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.

The kids will run 1.609 meters in the afternoon before the marathon. There will be 2 laps at the course through the historic city of Salzburg. Start and finish are at Residenzplatz.

Classification: Classification: M+F U8 (2006-2007), M+F U10 (2004-2005), M+F U12 (2002-2003), M+F U14 (2000-2001), M+F U16 (1998-1999).

10-km-Race

Start: Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 8:45 a.m. in Leopoldskron, finish at Residenzplatz

Ten kilometres along the most beautiful sights of Salzburg. The 10-km-Race will start near the lake “Leopoldskroner Weiher”. The participants will pass by castles and nearly all off the sightseeing highlights of Mozarts baroque home town. The finish line is located at Residenzplatz. Feel the sound of running during this beautiful race.

Start: Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 9:10 a.m

A 5 km lap for runners and walkers through the centre of Salzburg. An unforgettable event which can be accomplished by the whole family. The start is located at Universitätsplatz, the finish line at Residenzplatz.

CUP&CINO Breakfast Run

Start: Sunday, May 4, 2013 at 8:30 a.m.

In groups of 15 runners, all participants get the possibility to visit all the specifics of the historic centre of Salzburg, a UNESCO world cultural heritage, during a comfortable run on routes with various lengths (from 3 to 7 kilometers). The groups are accompanied by competent guides (also english-speaking). The start is at "Residenzplatz". After the sight-seeing run, all the participants will meet at "CUP&CINO Coffeehouse" for a common breakfast. The entry fee of €5,- will completely be donated to a local integrative society for kids and teenies and includes a T-shirt and the CUP&CINO breakfast. It is payable directly before starting.
