Travel by public transport to the Running Festival in Mozart City!

To get comfortably to the start you are advised to take public transport. The trains from Munich, Vienna and other big cities in Austria go regularly even on sundays. Just have a look at the timetables of Österreichische Bundesbahnen, Westbahn and Deutsche Bahn. (Links to follow)

In the city of Salzburg the best solution is to go by public transport as-well. At the day of your competition, your bib number is valid as ticket for the public transport in the city-zone of Salzburg.

 

Arriving by car – Parking
  • “Altstadt“ garages (reduced rate, see the voucher in your Welcome Package). Leave the highway A1 at “Salzburg Airport" an go in direction of city center.
  • Park & Ride
    • south of Salzburg / Alpenstraße: Leave the highway A10 at “Salzburg Süd“, follow the “Alpenstraße“ to the city limit and take the Obus line 3 to the city center (on Sunday every 20 minutes).
    • “Messezentrum“: Leave the highway A1 at “Messezentrum“ and take the Obus line 1 to city center
